What is the Make It Happen Foundation and Summer Business Academy?

The Make It Happen Foundation (MIHF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to fostering an environment for young people to realize their full potential. The foundation was founded by Kevin Liles, a Baltimore native current President/Founder of KWL Enterprises and former President/CEO of Def Jam Music Group and Executive VP of Warner Music Group.

Program Overview – What will you get from the Summer Business Academy?

• Exposure to program’s host college Morgan State University
• Business education through lectures on fundamental business topics ranging from Finance & Marketing to Negotiation & Business Ethics
• Corporate visits to local businesses to experience business principles in action
• Opportunity to develop a business plan and present to executives
• Opportunity to meet and network with today’s and tomorrow’s leaders

Eligibility requirements:
Enrolled sophomore/junior, GPA 2.5+, good attendance

Application includes:
Essay, high school transcript, recommendation letter
